ABOUT US
African States Alliance (ASA) is an organization that seeks to increase cross-border cooperation through social and economic integration among African states. The organization achieves this by promoting public awareness of human rights and persuading government officials to improve or develop policies that effectively meet the needs of citizens and businesses through public advocacy.
THE FOUNDER
Youhana Martin-Benansio visited Africa and spent time in Aswan, Egypt, and Khartoum, Sudan. During the visit, he observed many social and economic issues, such as famine, homelessness, unemployment, urban poverty, lack of transportation, lack of educational systems, and lack of governance participation.
What You Need to Know!

As the international community is currently dealing with the difficult times of the spread of COVID-19, many underdeveloped regions are confronted by this pandemic immensely. Many African states are struggling, and citizens living in impoverished regions have been devastated by this pandemic.
ASA has taken steps and is working with community leaders to protect the health of residents in their communities by providing nutritional meals and medical supplies. The organization’s goal is to support communities hit hard by the pandemic.
